The name Nordstrom brings to mind a lot when it comes to the online retailers and brick and mortar sites as well.  As one of the largest high end retail outlets in the world, Nordstrom has been around for what seems like the dawn of time.  People the world over will fly to the city just to visit this store and now people are able to access the site and shop through their massive online catalog without having to buy a plane ticket.  This has really put this company in the front lines of a lot of things, online retailing being the major deal.

Nordstrom.com is one of the hottest places to get the hottest shoes in fashion right now.  As you are well aware, they are not for everyone.  If you are looking for the cheaper deals then you should not be visiting this site.  They are Nordstrom and their prices reflect that as much.

The landing page of the shoe area is simple and classy to say the least.  There is nothing that is really above the mark here when it comes to the online arena.  Everything has been done up in the very basic style and allows for the people who are looking to buy to easily navigate the site without all the frills and fluff getting in the way.  Of course many of the bigger online dealers are looking at this structure now a days so it is really nothing new to the world.

Nordstrom.com is thumbing their nose at the competition in many respects.  They, unlike the rest of the retailing arena right now in shoes, charge for shipping.  The fact is that this place can get away with that because they have the name that goes with the product so there is nothing to worry about on that front.  They do however, offer cut rate shipping.  You can have any pair of shoes shipped to the US for about five dollars which is still low when you see the price of shipping these days.

Being able to refine your search is another major issue within the industry and Nordstrom.com offers just that.  You can search by brand, size or style through this site and get the better results faster then you would without such a feature.

Nordstrom.com has taken things a bit further with their individual shops for certain things.  You can visit the men’s boot shop, the women’s boot shop and even the kid’s shop to make things a bit easier to navigate.  You will be taken to a completely different site when you click on one of these links and that means that you will have a much easier time in finding what it is that you are looking for.

The prices here are not all that grand but they do offer some of the most quality shoes in the business.  They are very limited on the brands that they sell as well.  While other retailers are offering two hundred or more brands, Nordstrom.com offers but one hundred brands, all of which are available through their store as well.

This is not a bad site if you can afford to purchase shoes for the price they are asking.  They do run some sales from time to time but not all that often.
