If you are looking for shoes then you have most likely heard about Payless Shoes.  They have been a force in the shoe selling world for a good long time.  This is not to say that they are the best.  Actually many people do not enjoy their stores since the sales tend to be complicated by nature and change all the time.  These things do detract from the main purpose but in most cases you will find that there are some incredible deals to be had by many for the shoes that they are looking for.  If you can manage to find a store since the massive restructure the company went through a couple years ago and many of the stores were shut down to help cut costs and such.

Payless.com is one of the newer sites on the net for shoe retailing.  The giant that is Payless has now sought to make their mark on the net with their offers of many shoes.  People will have little trouble finding the site with the name as it is and once you arrive you will be pleasantly surprised for sure.

The main problem with this site is the annoying flash introduction to the new designer for their shoes that they are carrying.  This takes some time to load the first time around it may not load correctly which gives you a page error.  Once this happens there is nothing to do but close the browser window and try again.

Now then, as many know the brands at Payless are very limited and this is no different when it comes to Payless.com. Overall there is little to do with the search features that they offer.  You can easily browse the selection that they carry in a very short amount of time.  This is offset by the fact that they are much cheaper with their regular prices then the sale prices of the leading competitors.  The only difference is that you are not getting the top brand names when you buy from Payless.com.  Instead you are getting a slightly lower quality brand that they carry instead.

One must take a good look at the site.  Most of the features are readily used and can be worked to your advantage but there is nothing that one can do to change the fact that there is not much to choose from.

Payless.com is not in line with the other retailers because they do charge a shipping fee for orders under fifty dollars.  The prices tend to run a bit high with the shipping so it is best to get in on the deal while it is available.
