Casadei is one of Italy's most important Italian shoe factories dating back to 1958 and presented its new collection for the winter of 20-21 at Milan Fashion Week at the Palazzo Castiglioni Bovara.
When I received the invitation to the presentation, I was very pleased! I was looking forward to discovering their new shoes because I knew they would all be small pieces of art.
These collections are really interesting because these great factories use luxurious new materials, without counting the cost of their production.
Just as I expected it, the presentation impressed me as well as the castle with its two large chambers that opened for the occasion.
The dominant colours were red, purple, black-white and with a strong presence of modern materials such as lycra, quilt, velvet and laser cut that gave the lace feel.
My favourite piece was the red velvet pumpkin with the colourful crystals (passed by hand) and a pointed toe slightly oblique. Real shoes that you can't get enough of.
Casadei, thank you very much for the invitation.
